Hi!
Earlier I promised to go through my books and interrogate my book shelves. I'm only going to list three books for each category... I have over 400 books. 😊 Let's do this!
READ
Three of my most recent reads are :
Puhdistus
Gone with the Wind
And...
Dead until Dark
This is part one of my interrogation...
I liked all three books, but I really didn't enjoy Dead until Dark. It was too sexy. The plot was interesting but I didn't fall in love with the characters. I might have had too high hopes for it.
I really loved Gone with the Wind. It was wonderful. I laughed, I cried, I got angry at the characters... The book made me think, feel and learn.
Puhdistus was a very dark novel. It was so dark, it was too dark for me. I was kind of angry at the end. It was a disappointment, but at the same time it was kind of satisfying, to have come to the end and the horrible things stopped. I didn't really get the end. I didn't understand what really happened.
Well, that's all for now.
Bye bye!

Fall is approaching...
Hi!
Lately I have been watching a lot of BookTube videos on Youtube and there is sooo many good recommendations, my TBR is growing alarmingly fast... :P Mostly I watch videos about YA... I don't know, I just like those kind of books... Once upon a time, I bought many different YA series, and most of them are still a-waiting on my shelves... I'm SO sorry, dear books! There's mermaids, vampires, trolls, dragons and what-not... I started the True Blood book series... So far I've read the first book. It's definitely NOT YA, but it's one of the series I bought during my shopping-spree... The shopping-spree lasted for several years. You'd be amazed how much a person can buy, books, stuffed animals, CD's, when on a shopping spree. I was somewhat of a shopaholic.
Now I'm currently reading:
Fangirl
Cinder
Me before you
And a few others, I always love to read many books at the same time. Why not? :) Today I'm maybe finally starting to read the Illustrated version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. I still have a few weeks before I have to return it to the library. I haven't counted how many times I've read it, but I haven't read this fabulous version yet <3 I have taken a little sneak peak at some of the pictures. They are so beautiful.
So. It's finally Fall... I was thinking of reading something "Halloween"-y (except Harry Potter) for Fall and start preparing for Halloween. Many people here in Finland don't celebrate Halloween, but I'm usually celebrating it in some way or the other. On Valentine's Day I love watching horror movies, home alone with my cats. So maybe I should watch a chick-flick for Halloween? Lol. That would be interesting. :P
Have a great weekend! :)

Dear Readers...
Dear Readers...
Today I watched "Mockingjay pt. 2"... Needless to say, I loved it. I have somehow managed to avoiding watching it until now. It was like a delicious candy, that I put away for later pleasure ;) Well, it wasn't the same with me and the Hunger Games' books... I read them so so fast. Now I really regret devouring them so fast. Today I decided to go back to the books and re-read them... It was the same problem as the Divergent-series. I read them so fast and then like; "Huh? Are they over?"... Well, thank goodness they're not over for ever more. One can always re-visit those dearly beloved classics of YA Dystopia...
I've been a lazy reader lately... I just started Fangirl on Saturday... I know, I know... I'm completely and utterly late to the party... So far I _LOVE_ it! If I really enjoy the rest of the book as much as it very promising beginning, I dare say, I will have to read everything by Rainbow Rowell... I borrowed Fangirl from the local library (BUT!) if I really like it, I will put it on my wishlist :) Alas, it was the only available book by Rainbow Rowell at the moment at the library, but I'll just have to order the rest!
It has happened multiple times... I enjoy a book just SO much, I get crazy about it, and finally buy all the books by the author. Some of my auto-buy authors are: Stephen King, John Irving and Dan Brown...
Well, well, well... My cats are meowing (I only have two), it's dinnertime...
Later! :)

Books and music.
Hi,
I usually need the perfect music when I'm reading. It depends of course what I want to read. If I'm reading Harry Potter, for example, I need to listen to the soundtracks of the Harry Potter -movies. For some reason, when I was reading the Twilight -series, I almost always listened to HIM (a Finnish rock band ). They just went perfectly together. Sometimes I also "listen" to a movie while reading the book it is based on. For example, when I'm reading LOTR (which I have yet to finish, yikes!) I sometimes "listen" to the LOTR movies...
Well, I have to go to the gym early tomorrow morning, better eat, read and finally sleep so I'll be somewhat awake tomorrow in time for my BodyBalance class...
Nite, nite!

Hello, I'm back! :)
Hi there everybody!
What's up? I just realized that I'm very much behind on my goodreads goal, and my currently-reading -shelf is getting bigger and bigger, as per usual... There are some books I start over and over again, because I keep telling myself I have forgotten the beginning... Often I leave a book "hanging" for a long time, because I want to savor it, enjoy it as much as possible. I "save" good books to be read at a more convenient time, when I have more time to fully enjoy it. Which is stupid. I, Cindarella Santonen, will never go around saving books. I will enjoy them right here, right now... Because there's no time like the present, right? :) LoL, I don't know if I'm making much sense today... :P I apologize...
I finished a very interesting book a few weeks ago, it's called "Puhdistus" in Finnish, it's by Sofi Oksanen. Here is the link to it in English:
It was...
a. horrifying
b. un-putdownable
c. depressing
But it was worth the read. I will never forget it...
Well, now I'm going to go sit on my bed and read something, something I feel like reading tonight...
Good night!
From Finland with Love,
Cindy
